Become a Search Partner
When a child is abducted it’s vital they are found as quickly as possible. This means we need the whole community to get behind the search for that child as soon as an alert is issued. That’s why our Search Partners are so important.
Our Search Partners use their websites, intranets and social/digital media platforms to help spread the word rapidly during a Child Rescue Alert. Some partners also use their community noticeboards to display missing posters too.

Child Rescue Alert on your website
You can now include a Child Rescue Alert ‘pop up’ on your website or intranet. This simple piece of HTML code can be embedded on the page where you would like the pop up to appear. It’s easy to add and will mean that, when an alert is activated, it will ‘pop up’ on your site letting your customers/audience know that a child has been abducted and is in danger. The ‘pop up’ includes an image of the child, their name, age, defining features, where they have been taken from and what to do if you have seen that child. The pop-up will only appear when a Child Rescue Alert is active.
The pop up can be easily clicked away by the web user and will only appear once per visit to your site.
You may need to chat about this with your marketing department, webmaster or developer before adding Child Rescue Alert to your site.

When a child is abducted every minute counts to bring them home safely. You can now install Child Rescue Alert on your desktop so you and/or your staff can receive alerts directly to your computers during a working day. This means if a child is abducted in your area you and your staff are made aware of it immediately and can report any sightings straight away. This could make all the difference in the event of a child abduction.
The ‘pop up’ includes an image of the child, their name, age, defining features, where they have been taken from and what to do if you have seen that child. It will appear every time you start up your PC while a Child Rescue Alert is active.

Use your website to help people register for Child Rescue Alert
We need to get people’s attention as soon as possible to maximise the chances of their helping save a child’s life. This is why we encourage people to register to receive text messages and/or emails in the event of a Child Rescue Alert. They can do this on this website but they could also register through your website without moving to this website. All you need to do is ask you website developer to use the simple API (Application Programming Interface) to create a short dialogue styled to match your website.
